Following the successful first edition of deBlock, we are pleased to announce that the second deBlock Conference will take place in November 2026, bringing together professionals, students, and researchers interested in blockchain, artificial intelligence, and digital assets.
The inaugural edition in 2025 received 107 submissions across four thematic tracks from researchers both in Iran and abroad, with roughly 15–20% of submissions coming from outside the country — a strong indicator of deBlock’s growing status as a regional reference point in blockchain research. Of these submissions, 70–75 papers were accepted for final publication, and the top 20 papers were recognized with prizes totaling 12 ETH. Accepted papers were also indexed and published on the Civilica platform.
About deBlock 2026
Building on the momentum of its first edition, deBlock 2026 returns this year with an expanded scope and a more diverse program. The exhibition segment of the event will run for four days, held concurrently with Tehran AI Exhibition — a synergy that creates new opportunities to bridge the blockchain and AI communities and broadens the event’s reach among specialized attendees and visitors. Alongside the exhibition, two days of the program will be dedicated to the scientific conference track, featuring research presentations, expert panels, and specialized sessions.
Another distinguishing feature of deBlock 2026 is the expansion of its competitive components: in addition to the academic paper competition, the conference will also host a startup competition, extending recognition beyond academic research to support early-stage ideas and ventures. As with the previous edition, winning papers from this year’s scientific competition will be indexed in ISC and Civilica citation databases, further reinforcing the scholarly credibility and long-term visibility of accepted work at the national level.
