Mojtaba Tavangar, a former member of Iran’s parliament and expert in energy economics, was appointed as the Parliamentary Deputy of the Ministry of Energy in September 2024. He previously chaired the Energy Economy and Digital Economy Committee in parliament and held roles in various strategic councils, including innovation and capital markets.
